Lightning 100

Lightning 100 is Nashville's longest-running independent radio station, and one of our longest-running relationships. For more than seven years Favrs has run the station's annual Music Mayhem contest end to end, on Contest Widget — contest software we built for exactly this: brackets, voting, and results that hold up when a whole city votes at once.

Now we're building the station's new mobile app — the stream in your pocket, for the listeners who already carry it everywhere. Radio apps live or die on the basics: the stream has to start instantly and never drop, and everything else has to stay out of the way.
